The new location of Rockford Optical patient records has been decided.

The patient records of Rockford Optical are now located at American Vision Centers. Dr. Wight is the doctor and owner of American Vision Centers.

You can get eye/contact exams there as well as glasses and contacts.

Effective December 10, 2009 Rockford Optical Service has permanently closed its doors.

 Rockford Optical Has been serving the Rockford, Illinois community for over 50 years.

Due to the current economic condition, the lack of business and the presence of all the "Big Box" stores we are no longer able to stay in business.

Pat and Brad, the owners of Rockford Optical thought long and hard on the decision to close and we have to admit that to finally say we were done did not come easily.

Even though we have closed the door to the brick and mortar portion of our business we will continue to maintain this web site and will continue to build an on line Rockford Optical Service.

We will be posting at a future date where Pat will be should she find another job with another optical company.

As the months progress we will be adding to this site and will be offering various other products, information and a blog.
